Women's crew team members honored
May 31, 2006
Two of PLU’s women’s crew members, Lauren "Katie" Schlepp and Erin Wolf, were selected to receive the Pocock All-America awards for 2006, awarded by the NCAA Division II/III Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.
Both women were also named to the Division III second team. This marks the second straight year that Schlepp, a senior from Bozeman, Mont., has received the award, and the first time for Wolf, a senior from Spokane.
The association also named the Division III National Scholar-Athletes, which requires a grade point average of at least 3.5. Both Schlepp and Wolf were named scholar-athletes for the first time. Named for a second time were senior Blaise Bellows from Whitefish, Mont. and junior Audrey Knutson from Okanagan.
