Summertime fitness at PLU

The LuteFit Committee and Human Resources will be offering a variety of fitness classes this summer for faculty and staff. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate.
Combining cardio and strength exercises, Fit Club will offer a total body workout. Activities will include cycling, walking, running and jumping, along with lunges, squats, weights, resistance bands and pilates. The Fit Club will meet from 5:15 to 6:15pm on Tuesdays, June 2 through August 11. The cost is $20.
Zumba classes were introduced this spring and will continue through the summer. The Latin Dance Aerobics class will meet Thursdays, from June 4 through August 6. Class runs from 5:15 to 6:15pm. The cost to participate is only $20. No dance experience is needed.
Tai Chi and Weight Watchers groups will also meet on campus this summer.
