Professors make mark in anthology

May 11, 2009

Two PLU professors, Assistant Professor of English Rick Barot and Assistant Professor of Theatre Brian Desmond, recently had poems published in an anthology of Tacoma-area poets.

The anthology is entitled “In Tahoma's Shadow: Poems from the City of Destiny,” and is edited by William Kupinse and Tammy Robacker. Barot’s two poems in the anthology are “Election Song” and “America. Desomond’s poem is entitled “The Scattering.”

The anthology is published by Exquisite Disarray Publishing, a non-profit corporation dedicated to highlighting the work of Northwest poets.
