e-Business Day 2009 aims to help companies succeed

The School of Business and ePLU E-Commerce and Technology Management Center at Pacific Lutheran University will be hosting e-Business Day 2009 on Thursday, April 23. The program will run from 8 a.m. to noon, and will be held in Room 103 of the Morken Center for Learning and Technology.
The day will being with networking at 8 a.m., followed by presentations from Dr. Chris Ferguson, Associate Provost/Information and Technology Services and Dr. Jim Brock, Dean of the School of Business at Pacific Lutheran University. The keynote address by Todd Ostrander, Founder/CEO of Perlego Wireless will begin promptly at 8:35 a.m.
Two panel discussions and a networking break in the Morken Center Atrium will make up the rest of the program. The panel discussions will discuss starting a tech company in a down economy and succeeding with social media in 2009. Dr. Chung-Shing Lee, Director of ePLU, will close the event at noon.
