PLU’s MediaLab receives award from BEA

“Illicit Exchanges: Canada, the U.S. & Crime,” the most recent documentary from Pacific Lutheran University’s MediaLab, premiered in Seattle last fall.
Recently, it has received a 2009 Honorable Mention Award from the Broadcast Education Association in the long-form documentary category.
“Illicit Exchanges,” finished in the top 5 out of the 49 nationwide entries, and will now be shown in Las Vegas at the BEA Festival of Media Arts: Faculty and Student Documentary Competition Awards Session.
The award will be presented during the BEA festival on April 23.
