Annual Family Math Night

This year the Mathlete program’s annual Family Math Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the Scandinavian Cultural in the UC.
Family Math Night couples useful learning with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Mathlete students and their families learn about the program, which provides math tutoring for local youths. The goal of Mathletes is to build a community around learning mathematics by providing young children with role models and mentors.
PLU math students have been recruited and trained to assist middle school teachers in preparing students for the Math Olympiad, a ma thematic series of events.
