Tacoma premiere of ‘I.O.U.S.A.’ to be held at PLU

November 14, 2008

‘I.O.U.S.A.’ from filmmaker Patrick Creadone examines the current economic crisis, asking intriguing questions to try to better understand why the country is facing an economic crisis. The film also examines the four key deficits: budget, savings, trade, and leadership.

The screening of ‘I.O.U.S.A.’ will allow Tacoma residents to view the film before it is nationally aired on PBS’s ‘Independent Lens’ series. The sponsors of this viewing are PLU’s MediaLab and ITVS Community Cinema Tacoma.

Anyone interested in attending is invited to Ingram 100 at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20. This event is free and open to the public.
