For those who have never heard of the surPLUs sale, a few eyebrows may be raised. The truth is that on Oct. 18, PLU Environmental Services will be giving a whole new meaning to the term “surplus sale.”

Across the campus, environmental services has been collecting excess or unwanted office supplies, furniture, and other re-usable supplies that would otherwise be headed to the nearest landfill. The surPLUs sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All members of the PLU community are welcome, and this event is open to the public. Anyone wishing to schedule a first look before the sale is asked to make an appointment by calling 253-535-7385.
