New faces arrive at PLU

The following employees have arrived at PLU. Welcome!

Michael Keith joined computing and telecommunications services as a help desk specialist. He’s previously worked in computer support at the Legislative Service Center and the Office of the Attorney General. Keith earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Western Washington University. In his spare time, he enjoys movies, reading, comic books, gaming and cooking. He and his wife, Anne, have two cats, Jasper and Ruby.

Sean Lacy was hired as the assistant director of admission. He’s previously worked as the assistant director of admission at Trinity Lutheran College, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in youth and family ministry. Lacy is a youth leader and member of Turning Point Community Church in Kent. He and his wife, Kim, have three children, Michael, 17, Christine, 7, and Joshua, 4.

Shirley Garrison is the manager of performance and outreach for the music department. She spent more than 33 years working as a travel agent for All Wanderlands Travel and Doug Fox Travel, and also worked for five years as a French teacher in Federal Way. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University and completed an eight-week intensive Spanish course at Seattle University. Garrison has been a member of Executive Women International for 15 years. She enjoys swimming, yoga, sewing and foreign languages.
