Young entrepreneurs club begins its meetings
September 05, 2008
Have a yen to start your own business? Or just like tossing around ideas of how to create the next Facebook or Google?
The Young Entrepreneurs Group will begin meeting Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. in Morken 103. Group registration is free, and the club is open to all majors.
At the end of the month (Sept. 30) the group will hold its Apprentice Competition where members will divide into teams and create a service or product that they will try to sell on campus. The team will also look at creating a business name, logo, branding and core values.
The group exists to network with other students and entrepreneurs to find helpful contacts, motivate unconventional thinking and create a “no limits” atmosphere.
For more information, call group president Brittany Lewis at 253-459-3047.
