Class schedule altered for university welcome

Today the schedule for the first day of classes will be altered slightly to account for Opening Convocation, which begins at 9 a.m. in Olson Auditorium.
Classes will be cancelled and university offices will be closed from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Chapel is also cancelled. This will allow all members of the PLU community to attend convocation and the annual Campus Involvement and Job Fair that follows on Red Square.
At the fair, student clubs, campus employers and sports teams will be available to answer questions and recruit new members.
Students will be excused from the first class session at 8:30 a.m. New students should report to Eastvold Auditorium, while continuing students report to Olson Auditorium.
The normal class schedule resumes at 11:30 a.m.
