Music professor teaching in Minnesota
July 10, 2008

Assistant music professor Jim Brown is spending part of his summer surrounded by 150 high school students in Saint Peter, Minn.
Brown is teaching voice lessons, directing small ensembles and performing at the Lutheran Summer Music Academy. The four-week intensive seminar, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College, attracts high school students from around the country.
“I am hoping that some of these talented students come to PLU,” Brown said.
At PLU, Brown teaches voice and directs the annual Opera Workshop production.
