Activities planned to bust end-of-semester stress

To alleviate some of the stress brought on by the last weeks of the semester, the PLU LuteFit Committee is hosting a “Stress Buster Week” May 11 to 18.
Throughout the week, stress-reducing activities will be offered. These include daily 30-minute walks that begin in Red Square, along with various sporting activities, such as beach volleyball, ice skating, dodgeball and Frisbee. - Ruth Rogers, director of Career Development, will hold relaxation and mediation sessions from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on May 12, 14 and 19 in University Center room 213 and on May 21 in UC 134.
- On May 16, UC 133 will become a relaxation room, where visitors can spend quiet time reenergizing their body and mind. Psychologist Joanne Ito will hold 45-minute guided relaxation sessions at 11:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
