Natural sciences festival showcases student work

At the 14th Annual Natural Sciences Academic Festival May 2 and 3, students will showcase their research and capstone accomplishments through oral, poster and demonstration presentations.
The festival features presentations by students from biology, chemistry, geosciences, mathematics, computer science and computer engineering, physics and the environmental studies program. Additionally, several PLU alumni, a Boeing employee and Microsoft employee will give talks.
The festival will take place in the Morken Center for Learning and Technology and the Rieke Science Center. It runs from 12:30 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 2, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.
