Give blood, save a life
April 04, 2008
PLU’s nursing club, Delta Iota Chi, will host a spring blood drive April 14 and 15 in Chris Knutzen Hall.
The drive runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, and all donations will go to the Cascade Regional Blood Services. Donating blood takes approximately 30 minutes, and one donation can save three people’s lives. Cookies will be provided.
Walk-ins are welcome, and the club is also signing donors up at a table in the University Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through April 11. This marks the last drive of the academic year organized by the nursing club. Last year, a record 180 donors participated in April.
