Vote for next year’s leaders

The ASPLU primary election for executive officers is Wednesday and Thursday.
The election began at 8 a.m. today and ends at 5 p.m. on March 6. All voting will take place online.
Computers for voting are also available in the University Center and at kiosks around campus.
The candidates for president are Lauren Buchholz, John De Mars and Moriah Zimmerman, and the vice presidential candidates are Laura Comstock, Amy Spieker amd Terra Vandewiele. The online ballot includes a space for write-in candidates and links to each candidate’s policy statement.
The primary results will be displayed on the ASPLU Web site by 7 p.m. on March 6, on campus bulletin boards and in Friday’s Daily Flyer. Two finalists for each executive position will move on to the general election on March 12 and 13.
A final debate is scheduled for March 11 at 6 p.m. The location is still being determined.
