Mail and printing services highlighted online

February 08, 2008

For those looking to mail a package, have copies made or needing help with a publication project, need look no further than University Printing and Publications’ Web site.

The site explains the many services offered by the office, the procedures for placing orders and provides downloadable order forms for campus clients.

The office, which is located on lower campus and across the street from the Morken Center, includes the University Copy Center and Mail Services, and handles all the university’s printing and publication needs.

The office operates two high-speed digital copiers and has a digital color copier available, providing high quality, fast and affordable printing for campus clients. If the office is unable to produce a job in-house, they rely on an established network of vendors known for providing high-quality results.

Jobs can be submitted electronically, and same-day service is available on most print jobs. Finished jobs are delivered to campus offices for no charge. For more information, contact the office at ext. 7436 or winterjl@plu.edu.

Mail Services provides a variety of functions, from sealing and metering letters to processing bulk mailings. The office can send packages by Priority Mail, UPS and FedEx. The office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Online, campus clients can find tips on preparing and addressing mail, scheduled delivery and pick-up times, and deadlines for mailing items overnight. For more information, contact the mailroom at ext. 7438 or barnesll@plu.edu.
