Wang Center Photo Contest accepting submissions
February 01, 2008
As students return to campus from all seven continents, the Wang Center for International Programs is encouraging J-Term and semester travelers to participate in its annual photo contest.
The winning photos of last year’s Wang Center Photo Contest are currently on display in the University Center. The photos illustrate the many opportunities for global traveled offered by the university.
Students who studied away between February 2007 and Jan. 31, 2008 are eligible to submit photos for this year’s contest. Photos can be submitted in four categories: Landscape, Cityscape, People and Lutes Away. First, second and third place winners will receive gift certificates, and their photos will be displayed at the Study Away Fair on March 4.
Contest submissions must be received at sojourn@plu.edu by Friday, Feb. 15. Each submission must include the name of the photographer, title of the photo, a short description and the approximate location and date when the photo was taken.
