Training workshops target faculty and staff

Human Resource Services will be hosting a series of training workshops on Thursday, Jan. 31.
Titled “Personal and Professional Development Workshops,” the events are free and open to all faculty and staff. RSVPs are only required for those who wish to attend any of the computer workshops.
Workshops range from planning for retirement, home ownership and eating right to using the e-course management system Sakai, the nuts and bolts of the Business Office and the services offered by the Print Shop.
The first workshops begin at 8:30 a.m., and others will run throughout the day. Most are about an hour long, and the final ones will end at 4:45 p.m.
