Fantasy Lights tickets, holiday activities on Garfield
November 30, 2007
Discounted tickets for the 13th annual Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park are on sale at the Garfield Book Company at PLU.
Fantasy Lights is a holiday lights display, featuring thousands of lights and animated displays along a two-mile stretch of road in the park. While driving, visitors can tune their radios to 93.7 FM to listen to holiday music performed by local high schools. It’s open every night from 5:30 to 9 p.m. through Dec. 31.
Admission to the park is $13 per car or $45 for a bus. Visitors can pick up discounted tickets, costing $10 per car, at Garfield Book Company, the Lakewood Community Center or Sprinker Recreation Center. The bookstore teamed up with the Garfield Street Business Association to be a sponsor of the display.
Along with the discounted tickets, the Garfield Street Business Association is hosting events and activities in the business district every Wednesday night this holiday season. The festivities will include food specials, children’s activities and book readings.
For more information, stop by the bookstore or contact Kelley Valdez at ext. 7453 or valdezka@plu.edu.
