MBA Leadership Series continues in October

The State Farm MBA Executive Leadership Series continues with Bob Hinton, managing partner and chairman of the Dealer Services Group at Moss Adams, on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Morken Public Events Room.
A certified public accountant, he has been in public accounting since 1989. At Moss Adams, Hinton works exclusively with dealership accounting systems, auditing, financial forecasting, internal control and fraud investigation. He has authored, co-authored and developed a number of articles and workbooks, and Hinton was the 1997 recipient of the Moss Adams Excellence in Consulting Award.
Hinton is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Washington State Automobile Dealers Association and MRI Dealer Services Group.He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Puget Sound.
On Oct. 23, Scott Armstrong will speak. Armstrong is the president and chief executive officer of Group Health Cooperative, one of the nation’s largest consumer-governed health care systems.
He has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, joining the company in 1986. He has served in range of positions, from assistant hospital administrator to chief operating officer. He was named CEO and president in January 2005.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in New York and a master’s degree in business with a concentration in hospital administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
