Orchestra warms up for a new season of soothing sounds

Here senior Timoko Numa plays the harp during a warm up session last week of the Pacific Lutheran University Symphony Orchestra.

The 45-member orchestra was rehearsing, to gear up for the 2007-2008 season. The orchestra, University Chorale, Wind Ensemble and Choir of the West have a full touring season that begins in January, when the University Chorale will head south for performances in California.

The various groups will also travel throughout the state, and of course, hold many performances on campus.
