Academic year commences with University Conference

The Fall 2007 University Conference will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 8:45 a.m. in Olson Auditorium.
The conference includes the state of the university address by President Loren Anderson, and a special keynote address by Tom Christianson of Capital University. Faculty, staff and administrators are invited to Gonyea House for the traditional “Taste of the Northwest” after Wednesday’s sessions.
Faculty can participate in a variety of workshops taking place Aug. 29 and 30. The faculty conference sessions begin Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. in the University Center. Provost Patricia O’Connell Killen and Faculty Chair Erin McKenna will give an academic address on Aug. 30 at 8:30 a.m. in the University Center.
