PLU welcomed the following new employees:
Sheila Hinderer is the senior administrative assistant in the admission office. She previously worked as the registrar and international student coordinator at Cascade Christian Junior/Senior High School. Hinderer holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian elementary education and is an artist in her spare time. She and her husband, Roy, have three daughters, Rachel, Angela and Laura.
Øla Peterson joined the Digital Media Center as the Web systems developer. Peterson was previously self-employed and completed some college coursework in chemistry and computer science at Pierce College.
Barbara Clements joined University Communications as the director of content development. She previously worked at an education non-profit as its Web editor and The News Tribune as a business reporter. She graduated with a degree in biology and environmental science from Seattle Pacific University. She loves books, horses and watercolors. She and her husband, Gary, and daughter, Jennifer, live in Kent.
