Gallery curator’s talent on display

The artwork of Kathryn Sparks, PLU’s curator of visual resources and art department lecturer, will be on display August 4 through 23 in the University Gallery.
The show marks the first time Spark’s work has been exhibited in the United States. All of the items on display will be available for purchase.
The sale includes photographs, banners, drawings, mixed media work, paintings, prints and sculpture. Artwork will be available for as little as $5, and no piece will be priced for more than $100, Sparks said.
The University Gallery is open from Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
