The Islanders to perform at fruit festival

The annual Raspberry Fruit Festival on Wednesday, July 18 will feature The Islanders, a steel drum band.
The trio, originally from the Caribbean, will serenade the campus community with authentic Calypso and reggae music on steel drums. The festival begins at 11:30 a.m. in Red Square and features a raspberry treat.
Dessert is free with a PLU I.D., and it will cost $2.50 without one. The entertainment is free.
The final fruit festival of the summer will take place August 15 in Red Square at 11:30 a.m. It features blueberries and the Coates, a cappella group from Seattle.
