  • “The Leopard” by Giuseppe Tomasi Di Lampedusa. English professor Solveig Robinson and political science professor Peter Grosvenor will facilitate a discussion of the book on Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m.

  • “The Pact” by Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, Rameck Hunt and Lisa Frazier Page. This book is also a selection of the Tacoma Summer Reading Club.

The discussion of this book on Wednesday, August 15 at 7 p.m. will be facilitated by education professor Ronald Byrnes; Enumclaw School District Superintendent Mike Nelson ’85; Jennifer Tolzmann Avila ’97, who is currently serving her residency at Seattle’s Swedish Medical Center; University of Washington dental student Jenne Heu-Weller; and sociology professor Joanna Gregson.
