Painting nets windfall for PLU
University spokeswoman Megan Haley says that the Norwegian painting donated to PLU sold for $525,000 at Sotheby’s auction house in London. The net proceeds of the sale, about $400,000, will be put into an endowment to benefit the Scandinavian Cultural Center.
