Prizes, ‘70s theme at annual golf tournament
April 20, 2007
The PLU chapter of the American Marketing Association will host their annual golf tournament on Friday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the University Golf Course.
This year’s theme is “Green Fever: Groovy Duds and Golfing Studs.” Faculty, staff, and students are invited to form teams of four to compete for the first place team prize, as well as other team and individual prizes.
Registration is $20 for each team of four, and participants can register at the Columbia Center Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Registration on the day of the tournament is $40 per team.
The golf tournament is the club’s annual fundraiser. The money helps provide opportunities for the club’s student members, including sending members to Seattle networking luncheons, participating in national case competitions and preparing students for entrance into the marketing field.
