Welcome to PLU

PLU welcomed the following new employees:
Katherine Bourdonnay is the new assistant director of academic assistance. She comes to PLU from Goodwill Industries, where she was the manager of the English as a Second Language program. Her hobbies include watching old movies, reading and gardening. Bourdonnay has lived in Asia and Europe and has traveled extensively in Africa and the Middle East.
Elley Fries recently joined the team in the payroll office as a payroll specialist. Fries is a mother and grandmother who enjoys scrapbooking her family’s history. She is a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and has been married for more than 40 years to her husband, Les.
PLU alumna Erin Pearson ’04 is back on campus, this time as an employee rather than a student. Pearson is the senior administrative assistant in the finance and operations office.
