Vote for ASPLU president and VP this week

It’s election season on campus as voting for next year’s ASPLU executive officers begins this week with two candidates running for each of the top positions.
The candidates for president are Carl Pierce ’08 and Shannon Greene ’08, and the vice presidential candidates are Tamara Power-Drutis ’08 and Jon Morehead ’08.
The primary election will be held online beginning at 8 a.m. on March 5 and ending at 5 p.m. on March 6. All voting will take place online at www.plu.edu/aspluvote. Computers for voting will also be available at tables in the UC, Administration Building, the Morken Center and Rieke Science Center.
At a public debate on March 7 at 7 p.m. in Ingram 100, candidates will discuss their views on current campus issues and their policy statements. The session will be open for students to ask questions.
The general election will be held on March 12 and 13 with all voting taking place online. The results of the election will be announced at the ASPLU senate meeting on March 13 in Morken 103.
