Registration open for January Explore! retreat
November 17, 2006
The Explore! retreat for first year students will take place Jan. 19 and 20 at Camp Berachah in Auburn, Wash.
The retreat is designed to help first year students reflect on their vocation and begin asking the “big enough questions.” The event is sponsored by the Wild Hope Project.
Participants will hear from panels of students, staff and faculty about how the “big enough questions” have shaped their lives, affected their decisions and given them a stronger conception of their own identity. During small group discussions, first year students will share their dreams and how their lives have been shaped.
The weekend includes hiking and climbing a rock wall. The weekend is free, but space is limited. Register online at www.plu.edu/~explore/home.html.
For more information, contact Student Involvement and Leadership at ext. 7195 or sil@plu.edu.
