Four PLU alums received Fulbright Scholarships to teach English in Germany and Austria.

The School of Business received a grant from PLU's Digital Media Services to buy equipment for podcasting. The MBA program's fall classes will be the first to use it.

The student group Hope 'Scopes collects used microscopes and provides them to needy schools in developing countries to encourage scientific learning.

The Tacoma/South Puget Sound MESA program recieved a $10,000 grant from the Qwest Foundation, which will be used to support core program areas.
